TWO REPORTED ROBBED AND STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLES, WERE FOUND ABANDONED

On Thursday 19 May 2022 in Wattville and Daveyton areas, the Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department Equestrian Unit Members on patrol, recovered two (2) reported pinched motor vehicles, found abandoned in awkward places. 

At (put in the time) in Wattville area, at the corner of Dhlamini and Nkosi, a black Audi A3 reported robbed/hijacked from the owner in Brakpan area on Gardener road, was recovered abandoned, next to the Wattville public library. The assigned personnel from Car tracker tracking company, who also responded, confirmed the robbery.

Meanwhile, at 07:00 in Daveyton/Kingsway area, a reported stolen white Isuzu Light Delivery Vehicle was found in conjunction with the Tracker SA personnel and the EMPD Equestrian Unit Members, abandoned at the Kingsway Lindelani informal settlement.

 Both sought motor vehicles, were towed and impounded to the Benoni Van Ryns Deep (SAPS yard) for safekeeping. The South African Police Service Members (SAPS), are conducting thorough investigations.
