On 8 August, BFG Africa celebrated, honoured, and appreciated its female staff in a special event that left 70 women feeling valued and empowered. The celebration was filled with love, thoughtful gifts, inspiring motivational talks, and financial education.
Hosted by BFG Africa Cares, the event aimed to empower women, especially those working in engineering and manufacturing, while recognising their efforts, commitment, and hard work.
Louisa Molise, Chief Executive Officer of BFG Africa Cares Foundation, highlighted the importance of recognising women across all industries and sectors. “All women must be celebrated and embraced for their hard work and commitment,”she said. She also expressed gratitude to Avbob South Africa, BFG Africa, and Royal Revival for proudly supporting and sponsoring the event.
Louisa emphasised the power of collaboration and partnership, noting that BFG Africa Cares has many internal and external initiatives planned for the benefit of communities at large. “There are skills and development opportunities for women in engineering and manufacturing provided by BFG Africa Cares that is opportunities for learnerships and internships, as well as bursary programs,”she added.
Bongani Khoza, Managing Director of BFG Africa, also took the opportunity to wish all the women of BFG Africa a happy Women’s Month.
The women who attended left the celebration feeling motivated, uplifted, and inspired. They gained knowledge on career growth, health and beauty, self-esteem building, and financial literacy, including savings and investment opportunities to improve their lifestyle.
This beautiful Women’s Day celebration was held at the BFG Africa offices, located at 292 Evergreen Road, Germiston.
